One of the most delightful features of Manilva is its remarkable absence of towering skyscrapers, despite its prime coastal location. As tourists begin to uncover the village (and rightly so), it still retains its authentic Spanish charm. Most of the residents inhabit the commercial center, which spans only two square kilometers.

You'll discover several distinct communities within the municipality of Manilva. The picturesque white village of Manilva is located just a few kilometers inland from the charming coastal fishing village of San Luis de Sabinillas, often referred to as Sabinillas. To the west of Sabinillas, the tranquil yachting marina of Puerto Duquesa, along with its residential area and golf course, can be found. Further west lies another quaint fishing hamlet named Castillo de la Duquesa, named after the castle still present there. Continuing along the coast, various housing developments extend all the way to Punta Chullera.
